1. The consignor shall pay a fee of $12.00, which is good for
the calendar year (January-December).
2. CONSIGNMENT IS
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Tuesday through Friday (9:30-11:30 am).
There is a $1.00 charge for each half-hour appointment (10 items).
During this time volunteers will price your items of clothing
for sale. We request that each appointment limit items to three
of a kind (such as 3 skirts). For your convenience, arrangements
are available to allow you to leave your consignment items at
the shop before your appointment time, along with a detailed list.
Our volunteers will price the items and charge you the appropriate
appointment fee. Any item that is not acceptable will automatically
go to the Opportunity Shop, located on hospital property. If you
miss your appointment without notifying Monkey Business, you will
automatically be dropped as a consignor with the shop.
3. All clothing must
be clean, up-to-date, and seasonal and in excellent condition
(wrinkle free, no pulls in clothing, no musty odor, etc.). Monkey
Business has the right to reject any items not fit to sell in
the shop. Each item must be hung on a separate hanger.
4. Monkey Business
reserves the right to reduce the price of consigned articles at
any time. All precautions and care will be taken with consigned
articles, but the consignment shop Monkey Business cannot be responsible
for damages or losses under any circumstances.
5. Consigned articles
are kept for one month (30 selling days). All items that are unsold
by the expiration date become the property of Monkey Business
unless picked up by 12:00 (noon) on said expiration date. No notice
is sent.
6. At the end of the
consignment period, the consignor receives a check for 50% of
what was sold and Green Tree Community Health Foundation receives
50%. Checks will be mailed at the end of the expiration date.
Checks must be cashed within 60 days - un-cashed checks will be
voided.
7. Read your consignment
agreement; know you consignment number.
8. If it snows, your
appointment will be cancelled. Please call to arrange another
consignment date.
9. Please be prompt
for your consignment appointment.
SPRING CLOTHING - FEBRUARY AND MARCH
SUMMER CLOTHING - APRIL AND MAY
FALL CLOTHING - SEPTEMBER
WINTER CLOTHING - OCTOBER
NO CONSIGNMENT APPOINTMENTS IN JULY AND AUGUST
NOTE: Due to limited space in the shop, we can only accept
20 items from a consignor during the consignment period (approximately
4-5 weeks).
